This lovely family home had a small and dark kitchen, so the owners commissioned me to tackle both these problems. A single storey extension to the side created space and light creating the perfect open plan kitchen. The extension was designed to blend with the original house with painted brick walls with a pitched zinc roof to cope with the low pitch and Velux windows. Light reflective surface choices help to bounce the light around the room. The build was managed by James at MW Builders and the kitchen was designed and installed by Modern Homes
